Description
With PluginManager installed, you can browse the Wheels plugin database directly from your Wheels application. The interface provides an Auto Install link for each plugin, allowing you to download, install, and activate the plugin directly in your Wheels application. No need to hassle with FTP when trying out plugins.
Credits
Thanks to John Pope for contributing the reloadPassword-based security feature.
Thanks to AJ Mercer and Jordan Clark for identifying a fatal issue related to Wheels 1.1.4+'s new plugin system and to Jordan Clark for fixing my fix.
This is a modification of the Plugin Manager plugin originally created by Per Djurner.
Usage/Examples
Installation
- Download the PluginManager plugin.
- Place the zip file in your Wheels application's plugins folder.
- Reload your application by running it with ?reload=true in the URL.
Usage
For your security, PluginManager is only available in design or development mode and by default requires that the reloadPassword is set. See the documentation on Switching Environments for more information.
There will be a PluginManager link in the Plugins section of the Wheels debugging information at the bottom of the screen. Click that to access the PluginManager.
